Welcome to spend a unique Finnish Nature Day surrounded by nature, flavors and well-being!
Our day begins with a guided excursion into the nearby wilderness, where we’ll discover seasonal wild foods and learn about responsible foraging. Along the way, you’ll learn to identify edible ingredients, hear stories about the nature of the North and get practical tips for bringing wild flavors into your everyday life.
After the excursion, unwind in Cahkal Hotel’s panoramic sauna and refresh yourself with a dip in a mountain stream – a perfect moment to relax and take in the tranquility of the surrounding landscape.
The day culminates in a seasonal dinner prepared by Olli, Head Chef of Aika Restaurant. Locally sourced ingredients and the finest flavours of the season bring the purity and bounty of the North directly to your plate.
